Amanda Wilsher - Director Amanda has worked with Plested and Brown since 1999, directing, writing and devising the shows. She trained at Middlesex Poly – as it then was – and went on teach there for four years.

She is one of the country's foremost mask practitioners and has done considerable work abroad, including Germany and Israel, directing shows and running workshops. Directorial credits include the national tour of Island for Trestle Theatre Company and assistant director for The Stoneheads at The National Theatre. She is founder-director of the Young People's Drama Centre with many students appearing in the last five Harry Potter films. She runs ’moose’ – a highly successful training company. Using her theatre expertise and experience, she works with several public and private sector companies, running workshops in presentation/communication skills, and building creative teams.

She was told it couldn’t be done, but at the great age of 45, Amanda has recently given birth to Alfie Jack - Plested and Brown’s new recruit! (Adam is really pleased there is another boy in the company).
